PACSGEAR Announces Six-Hundredth Customer

New customers signal accelerated adoption of PACS/EHR connectivity solutions

PLEASANTON, CA - (September 10, 2007) - PACSGEAR, Inc., the leader in document and multimedia connectivity for medical image management (PACS/EHR), today announced that Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri has become its 600th customer site. Missouri Delta Medical Center selected PACSGEAR for its ability to add documents and multimedia to its existing PACS platform.

PACSGEAR continued its fast paced growth by adding 70 new sites in the second quarter. Hospitals, healthcare networks and imaging centers that signed contracts with PACSGEAR in the second quarter include: Great Basin Imaging, Mid Coast Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and University of Virginia Medical Center. In addition to importing radiology-based documents, film and multimedia into PACS, many of these sites also selected PACSGEAR to connect image-intensive departments outside of radiology to their medical image management systems.

"In five years, PACSGEAR has become the leader in document and multimedia connectivity, providing simple and effective solutions to problems that hospitals and imaging centers face every day," said Brian J. Cavanaugh, President of PACSGEAR. "But more importantly, our customers are providing enhanced care by connecting departments throughout the entire enterprise. We will continue to build quality products that enable medical image integration in order to give our customers a better picture of their patients’ health."
