PLEASANTON, CA – (July 15, 2010) – PACSGEAR, the leading provider of imaging connectivity for electronic health records, today announced the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisa e Estudo de Diagnóstico por Imagem (FIDI) in São Paulo, Brazil as its first site in Latin America.  With over 300 physicians, FIDI is a non-profit organization that performs over 3 million diagnostic imaging procedures each year.  FIDI selected PACSGEAR’s industry-leading PACS/EHR connectivity software, PacsSCAN™, to complement its recent PACS and teleradiology installations.

The sale was completed by LogiCaribe, Inc., PACSGEAR’s representative in Latin America.  LogiCaribe has provided sales and support throughout the region for over 25 years.
